We offer a range of programs, therapies and treatments to support your recovery, including specialist care for adult ADHD, trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression and other mental health conditions. **Your Position**We are seeking passionate and motivated **Registered Nurses** to join the team at **St John of God Langmore Centre** on a **casual basis**. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses looking for flexibility, variety and the opportunity to work within a supportive specialist mental health environment. As a **Registered Nurse** at **Langmore Centre,** you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to people experiencing mental health concerns, working collaboratively with patients, families, medical practitioners and the wider multidisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to build on your clinical skills and experience while supporting patients throughout their admission and recovery journey. **Casual shifts are available across a variety of shift times, including AM, PM and night shifts, providing flexibility to suit your availability.** **The Position*** Provides direct, comprehensive and patient-centred nursing care in accordance with established hospital policies, procedures and Care Paths.* Works collaboratively with patients, families,
medical staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical and recovery outcomes.* Assists with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care for allocated patients.* Demonstrates sound clinical assessment, critical thinking and risk assessment skills, recognising and appropriately escalating changes in a patient's mental and physical health.* Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients, demonstrating empathy, professionalism and respect.* Supports patients to participate in their treatment, recovery and discharge planning.* Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicates relevant patient information effectively during handover and throughout the patient journey.* Contributes to a safe, supportive and therapeutic setting for patients, visitors and colleagues.* Maintains and promotes positive interpersonal relationships and effective teamwork across the ward and wider service.* Ensures Infection Management policies and procedures are understood, adhered to and consistently implemented in clinical practice.* Demonstrates accountability for professional nursing practice and works within relevant legislation, professional standards and hospital policies.**About You** To succeed in this role, you will hold **current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse** and ideally have recent experience within a mental health or acute hospital environment. You will bring strong clinical assessment, communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to build positive therapeutic relationships and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Experience in mental health nursing will be highly regarded.
