Blayney District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 12-week contract basis. This is a triage and in-charge role, starting 12 October 2026 and concluding 3 January 2027. It's an opportunity to bring your ED expertise to a regional healthcare setting and make a direct impact on patient flow and clinical outcomes during a busy period.

Preferred Requirements

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) Level 2 certification




- Demonstrated experience in emergency department triage and patient assessment
- Proven ability to work effectively in an in-charge capacity, managing clinical priorities and team coordination
- Strong clinical decision-making skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Proficiency with electronic health records and emergency department workflows

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification or substantial experience in emergency nursing
- Familiarity with the Australasian Triage Scale and emergency department protocols
