Provide economic insights and recommendations to inform policy, programs and initiatives
Monitor economic indicators and identify emerging trends affecting regional Australia
Lead and manage research and impact assessment projects
Support the translation of research into practical advocacy and policy outcomes
Manage stakeholder relationships with government, industry, research organisations and communities
Represent RAI at conferences, forums and industry events
About you
Qualifications in Economics or a related discipline
Experience in economic research, policy, consulting or evaluation
Robust quantitative and analytical capability
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex economic concepts into practical recommendations
Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement
An understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing regional communities
