As Tiling Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of tiling works on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, to a high standard and in accordance with the construction program.
Key responsibilities
- Supervising tilers, subcontractors and labourers on site
- Coordinating daily works and allocating labour
- Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications and tile layouts
- Setting out tiling works and checking dimensions and levels
- Coordinating materials, deliveries and site requirements
- Monitoring productivity and ensuring works remain on program
- Carrying out quality inspections and managing defects
- Ensuring waterproofing and tiling works comply with project requirements and relevant Australian Standards
- Coordinating with builders, site managers and other trades
- Ensuring WHS requirements and site procedures are followed
About you
- Has strong experience in commercial and/or residential tiling
- Has previous experience as a Foreman, Supervisor or Leading Hand
- Has excellent knowledge of tiling installation, set-out, waterproofing and finishing
- Can read construction drawings and specifications confidently
- Has robust leadership and communication skills
- Can manage teams and subcontractors effectively
- Is organised and capable of working to construction programs and deadlines
- Has a strong eye for quality and attention to detail
- Holds a valid White Card
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence
