About the Role
This is 12 months Fixed term contract position.
As a Credit Officer, you will need to ensure that all outstanding accounts, reconciliations, adjustments and refunds are processed/collected in a timely and effective manner.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts.
- Collect outstanding debts via phone calls and emails.
- Liaise with facilities personnel regarding unpaid disputed resident accounts.
- Ability to deal with internal stakeholders and provide solutions to resolve delinquent accounts.
- Contacting and updating resident information for all DERP’s.
- Processing customer refunds.
- Assist the billing team at End of Month by handling call volumes.
- Ad-hoc responsibilities as directed by the Credit Manager.
Essential Skills and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Credit function
- Strong Negotiation skills.
- Accounting Qualified.
- Aged Care experience highly desirable but not essential.
- Experience in Epicor highly desirable.
- Business to Customer collection experience is essential.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working in a rapid-paced complex environment.
- Excellent customer service.
