IP Australia is seeking Trade Mark Examiners to assess applications under the Trade Marks Act 1995. No prior experience in IP, trade marks or law is required as comprehensive training is provided when you start.

Examiners research electronically, apply legal tests, and interpret information to decide registrability. The role involves liaising with businesses, IP professionals and the public, with emphasis on strong time management, digital literacy and explicit written and oral communication.
