Are you a passionate and experienced Pilates instructor ready totake the next step in your career? Club Pilates, part of the VivaLeisure family, is seeking a Lead Instructor to join our nationalstudio network.

This is a senior teaching position at the heart of the studiofloor. You will model instructional excellence, inspire your fellowteachers, and be the standard-bearer for the Club Pilates method,all while continuing to do what you love. Reporting to the StudioManager and Area Manager, you will play a key role in shaping thequality of every class, every member interaction, and everyinstructor's professional growth.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

Qualifications

- Comprehensive Pilates Certification or equivalent(Required)
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (Required)
- Completion of Club Pilates Bridge Training, or willingnessto complete upon commencement (Required)
- Experience teaching multiple Club Pilates formats
- Relevant Certificate IV in Fitness or equivalent(Desirable)

Skills & Experience

- Advanced Pilates teaching experience with a strongunderstanding of anatomy, safe movement principles, and classlayering
- Demonstrated ability to mentor peers through observation,structured feedback, and role modelling
- Strong communication skills with a supportive,solutions-focused, and professional approach
- Ability to work autonomously within definedresponsibilities while adhering to established systems andstandards
- Organised, reliable, and deeply committed to maintainingand raising instructional quality
- Flexible availability across a range of operating hours,including weekends, public holidays, early mornings, andevenings
- Physical capability to demonstrate exercises with correctalignment and control, assist members or teachers safely, andperform physical tasks over extended periods

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Class Instruction & Member Experience

- Support teachers in delivering high-quality Club Pilatesclasses across all approved formats, modelling best-practicecueing, sequencing, and class flow
- Promote safe, inclusive, multi-level instruction alignedwith Club Pilates methodology and safety standards
- Empower teachers to create a positive and motivating classenvironment that supports member confidence, satisfaction, andretention
- Ensure teachers are confident and equipped to guide memberswith technique and appropriate modifications within scope ofpractice




- Consistently represent Club Pilates brand values andinstructional expectations during all classes taught

Instructor Support, Coaching & Mentorship

- Act as a senior resource for teachers, offering peercoaching, guidance, and informal mentoring
- Observe classes and provide constructive, developmentalfeedback to support teaching growth and consistency
- Support teacher onboarding activities including auditions,practice teaching, and class shadowing
- Aid newly onboarded teachers completing Bridge Training byproviding guidance and support with final videosubmissions
- Identify training needs and relay observations to theStudio Manager for follow-up
- Encourage a collaborative, professional teaching culturefocused on continuous improvement

Teaching Quality & Method Consistency

- Promote consistent delivery of all Club Pilates classformats — intensity, transitions, and safety standards
- Support quality assurance by identifying instructionaltrends or gaps and escalating appropriately
- Reinforce correct equipment usage, setup, and studio safetypractices
- Participate in required Lead Instructor calls, trainingupdates, and educational sessions, sharing learnings with thewider team
- Facilitate mini internal workshops for teachers asneeded
- Work closely and collaboratively with Studio Manager(s) tosupport class and teacher quality outcomes
- Provide input on teacher availability and class coverage asneeded
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and studioinitiatives
- Support the studio during high-volume or peak periodsthrough professional leadership and presence
- Relay timetable schedule gaps or opportunities to theStudio Manager when identified
