This is a 6 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2027 with possible extension and/or permanency. Located 180 kilometres east of Perth, Tammin Primary School (PS) caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. With a history that spans 117 years, we are proud of our friendly, caring and inclusive atmosphere. Tammin PS is consistently evolving to ensure a agile learning environment is provided, and staff work collaboratively to assist children in realising their potential. Our educational philosophy places strong emphasis on the implementation of systemic whole-school English and Mathematics programs, across two composite classrooms. Role

We are seeking a Primary Teacher who will ideally have exceptional interpersonal skills, a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. As a Primary Teacher, you would ideally establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, set high expectations and cultivate a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development. We are looking for applicants who ideally exhibit exemplary teaching skills, with a strong motivation to excel, and a commitment to delivering best practices. They should also have capacity to excel in an environment characterised by whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth is highly valued. As members of our team, you would ideally leverage high-impact teaching strategies and showcase experience in designing and delivering engaging literacy and numeracy programs. The successful applicant will ideally possess an understanding of differentiation to meet diverse student needs is highly valued, along with proficiency in utilising various assessment tools to inform progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide future classroom planning.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
