The Company…

The Company is a well-respected and family owned companysupplying a wide range of welding machinery and industrial supplies tocustomers located throughout Queensland.

They are conducting a feasibility study into opening awarehouse operation in Dalby and are seeking expressions of interest for anexperienced and motivated branch manager responsible for Internal Sales &Distribution.; This position is an internal based role with responsibilitiescrossing over into warehousing/ distribution.

Activities Involved:

- Assistwith internal sales including walk-in, phone & email




- Identifycustomer needs and propose appropriate solutions
- Maintainingexisting client relationships
- Sellingproducts to recent existing and clients
- Achieveteam sales targets and individual KPI's
- Receivegoods; ensuring the accuracy of delivered goods against delivery documents
- Retrieveitems and prepare customer orders for dispatch

Skills Required:

- Proventrack record with strong sales and negotiation skills
- Backgroundin servicing the welding, engineering or fabrication markets
- Exceptionalcommunication skills including face-to-face interaction
- Self-motivatedand able to work autonomously
- Can-doattitude and hard-working
- Abilityto build relationships with customers
- Solutionbased approach
- Abilityto acquire welding industry product knowledge
- Ableto use a computer efficiently & effectively
- BothDriver’s and Forklift Licence
