A one-of-a-kind Miffy destination is coming to Melbourne, and we’re looking for an experienced, hands‑on Store Manager to help bring it to life.

This is more than a traditional retail management role. You’ll lead the day-to-day operation of Miffy Store Melbourne across both retail and café, building a solid team, maintaining high standards and creating a warm, memorable experience for every customer.

As part of the opening team, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the store from the beginning, including team culture, service standards, operating routines and the overall customer experience.

What you’ll be doing

- Lead, coach and develop the retail and café team

- Manage the day-to-day operation of the store

- Create a welcoming and memorable customer experience





- Maintain high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising

- Oversee stock ordering, deliveries, replenishment and stocktakes

- Manage rostering and day-to-day team coverage

- Oversee café supplies, service, cleanliness and food safety standards

- Manage opening, closing, POS and daily store procedures

- Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for improvement

- Resolve day-to-day operational issues quickly and practically

- Support product launches, activations and busy trading periods

- Help establish procedures and operating standards for the new store

- Build a positive, accountable and supportive team culture

About you

You’re a confident retail leader who enjoys being hands‑on and leading from the floor.

You’re friendly and approachable with customers and your team, while also being comfortable setting clear expectations, maintaining standards and taking responsibility for results.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Previous experience as a Store Manager or in a senior retail management role

- Proven experience leading, coaching and developing a team

- Strong stock management and visual merchandising skills

- Strong organisational and problem‑solving ability

- A practical, hands‑on management style





- Confidence managing multiple priorities in a busy environment

- Strong attention to detail

- Good commercial awareness

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Availability to work across a retail roster, including weekends and public holidays

Experience in café, hospitality or food and beverage operations would be highly regarded.

Experience with a new store opening, flagship store or high-volume retail environment would also be an advantage.

Miffy Store Melbourne is an upcoming Miffy retail and café destination in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

The store will bring together Miffy merchandise, food and beverage, thoughtful design and memorable customer experiences to create a destination for Miffy fans of all ages.

Joining the opening team means being part of the store from the very beginning and having a genuine opportunity to help shape how the store operates and how customers experience it.

What we offer

- $80,000-$85,000 + superannuation , depending on experience

- Full-time position in Melbourne CBD
