The Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Fitter or Electrician to join our team and play a key role in maintaining, servicing and repairing our fleet of rental equipment.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will enjoy a varied, hands-on position combining depot-based maintenance with work at customer sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated tradesperson who enjoys fault-finding, solving technical challenges and working with a diverse range of electrical and mechanical equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing 240V and 415V electric motors and associated control systems.
- Conducting electrical inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on our rental equipment.
- Attending customer sites to undertake servicing, fault-finding and maintenance activities.
- Identifying equipment faults and implementing secure, practical and efficient solutions.
- Operating machinery, equipment and vehicles in accordance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Working across indoor and outdoor environments, both independently and alongside other trades.
- Completing maintenance records, service reports and other required documentation accurately.
- Providing professional, responsive and high-quality customer service.
- Collaborating with colleagues,



customers and contractors to ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Electrical Fitter Trade Certificate or Electrical Trade Certificate.
- Experience working with a broad range of electrical components, motors and control systems.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Sound mechanical aptitude and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Confidence working autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence.
- Current Construction White Card (WHS Card), or willingness to obtain one.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
