Our client is a well-established engineering consultancy delivering specialist technical solutions across complex projects. They are looking for a Office& Project Administrator to join their Brisbane team and play a key role supporting project managers, senior management and the wider office.
This is a full-time, office-based role in Brisbane, offering a great opportunity for an administrator who enjoys variety and wants to build their career in a technical industry.
The Role
You will provide a mix of project, financial and office administration, including:
- Supporting project managers and senior management with day-to-day administration
- Managing monthly invoicing and timesheet reporting
- Assisting with project and proposal set-up and maintenance
- Managing purchase orders, expenses and supplier administration through Coupa
- Processing supplier invoices and reviewing client purchase orders
- Assisting with project revenue analysis and financial reporting
- Preparing ad hoc reports for project managers
- Supporting site onboarding, medicals, travel and document control
- Managing shared inboxes and general office administration
- Coordinating office requirements including catering, stationery and supplies
- Helping with the practical day-to-day running of the office, from organising supplies to handling the occasional milk-run
About You
We are looking for an organised, proactive and hands-on administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is happy to pitch in wherever needed.
You will ideally have:
- Experience in project, business or professional services administration
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience with invoicing, purchase orders or financial administration
- Exposure to ERP, accounting or procurement systems; Coupa experience is highly regarded
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- The ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member
- A willingness to learn and develop within an engineering environment
- A practical, can-do attitude and willingness to get involved in the day-to-day running of the office
Experience in engineering is not essential,this could suit an administrator from another professional services environment who is looking to take the next step into a technical industry.
