The Role

This isn’t your typical Finance Analyst role! You’ll be right in the mix of UMA, partnering with teams across Labels, Finance, Brands, Sync and Recording Studios to turn numbers into insights that help shape decisions. From budgets and forecasts to artist, project and divisional performance, you’ll bring commercial thinking to a creative, fast-moving environment. We’re looking for someone who knows their numbers but doesn’t want to sit behind them. Someone curious, collaborative and adaptable, with a genuine interest or passion for music and the confidence to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Budgeting and Forecasting Own the loading and consolidation of forecast and budget income and margins
- Manage forecast and budget marketing cost loads and reconciliations
- Assist with forecast and budget A&R; provisions
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of BPC inputs through to HFM submission
- Reporting and Analysis Prepare the internal finance pack, providing meaningful commentary to support end-of-month decision-making
- Deliver accurate divisional and project reporting that helps teams understand performance and make informed decisions
- Partner with the Brands team to analyse project profitability and provide clear commercial insights
- Work closely with Sync,



Management Commission and Recording Studios teams to provide analysis and commentary on profitability, rolling forecasts and revenue pipelines
- Prepare monthly management reporting with clear, relevant insights
- Upload digital financial information into HFM
- Prepare and distribute quarterly key artist LTD P&Ls; to the labels
- Cost Management Review overheads for accuracy and completeness, with clear commentary on key movements
- Monitor spend against budget across UMA divisions, helping teams stay on track and manage costs effectively
- Track and report on A&R; spends per label

About You

- 3-5 years experience in management accounting, reporting and commercial analysis
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems and exposure to SAP, BPC, Power BI, HFM or Business Objects will be highly regarded
- Proven high level of organization and meticulous attention to details
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the confidence to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner with and positively influence creative teams and senior leaders in their decision-making
- Comfortable with change, competing priorities and working to tight deadlines
- Agile, team-oriented and solutions-focused in your approach




- Genuine interest in the music industry or the entertainment industry is highly valued
