As an Insurance Officer, you'll play an important role in supporting the ongoing maintenance of member insurance arrangements. Working within our Operations team, you'll undertake a range of activities including data processing, insurance administration, premium payment processing, and technical analysis.

You'll contribute to the delivery of accurate and efficient insurance services while helping ensure members receive the support and outcomes they expect. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with detailed information, thrives in a fast-paced workplace, and is motivated by solving problems and continuously improving processes.

You'll be part of a team that values courage, empathy, and excellence, working together to deliver positive outcomes for members and stakeholders.

This role is a 12 month fixed term opportunity and is based in Brisbane.

Responsibilities

- Process and maintain member insurance arrangements accurately and efficiently.
- Complete insurance administration activities, including premium payment processing.
- Analyse information and investigate issues to identify appropriate solutions.
- Support the ongoing maintenance of insurance records and member data.
- Work across a range of systems to deliver operational outcomes.
- Provide a high standard of service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and elevate risks, issues, or exceptions when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives.

Qualifications

- You have strong analytical skills and a sound mathematical aptitude.
- Your experience includes managing high-volume workloads with a high degree of accuracy.
- You'll demonstrate the ability to analyse problems, identify issues,



and develop practical solutions.
- You’re confident using multiple computer systems and learning new technologies.
- You bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering excellent outcomes.
- You have a strong customer service focus and stakeholder mindset.
- Your professional work ethic enables you to adapt positively to change.
- You'll possess robust written and verbal communication skills.
- You’re familiar with superannuation, life insurance, or financial services, or can quickly build your knowledge in these areas.
- You understand the importance of risk management, compliance, and timely issue escalation.
