As our Major Projects portfolio continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Project Controls Coordinator to join our Queensland Projects team based in Luscombe (near Yatala).

This role will coordinate key project controls activities across planning, scheduling, cost, forecasting and performance reporting, providing the project team with accurate information and insights to support successful project delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll take an active role in coordinating project controls activities and providing accurate, timely information to support project performance and decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing, updating and maintaining project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Monitoring progress against schedules, milestones and project deliverables
- Coordinating project cost tracking, forecasting and resource planning
- Preparing project performance reports, dashboards and KPI reporting
- Monitoring schedule and cost performance and identifying variances and emerging issues
- Supporting earned value,



productivity and progress measurement activities
- Collecting, validating and analysing project performance data
- Maintaining project controls systems, databases and documentation
- Coordinating project risk and opportunity tracking
- Contributing to project meetings, reviews and reporting cycles
- Working closely with project managers, commercial teams, site teams and other project stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve project controls systems, reporting and processes

What You'll Bring

We're looking for an experienced project professional who is comfortable working across schedules, cost, project data and performance reporting.

You'll ideally bring:

- Experience in project controls, planning, scheduling, project services or a similar project-based role
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, mining, energy or another major project environment
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project schedules
- Experience using Microsoft Project or comparable scheduling software
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence analysing project data
- Understanding of project scheduling, forecasting, cost control and progress measurement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across multidisciplinary project teams




- A practical and proactive approach to project delivery

Qualifications & Experience

- Relevant project controls, planning, scheduling or project services experience
- Experience using Microsoft Project or comparable scheduling software
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Relevant qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Full Australian working rights

Highly Regarded:

- Primavera P6 experience - advantageous but not essential
- Power BI or other project reporting tools
- Exposure to EPC, EPCM or Design & Construct projects
- Experience within mining, energy, infrastructure or major construction
- Earned value management experience
- Cost control and forecasting experience
