TheRole:

Location:Maryborough, Queensland

Thisis an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and proactive individual. As theTransport & Despatch Operations Manager, you will be required to managedelivery trucks, resources, daily capacity planning, data analysis, customerservice levels and KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives. In thisposition, you will be the primary link between operations, sales and transportservice providers; being the connection point for all activities relating to thetransport and dispatch department.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the transport team providing deliveries, coordinating collects andinternal transfers.

- Ensure performance, profitability, and other KPIs are fulfilled.

- Monitor and manage the operation's ongoing profitability while reducing costs.





- Communicate with office staff to ensure smooth running of transport &despatch; activities.

- Actively develop and upskill your team, including identifying anycross-training or development opportunities

WhatYou Will Need to Succeed

- Formal qualification in relevant field (Preferred)

- Industry experience

- Proven ability to manage, coach, and grow teams

- A real dedication to improving health, safety, and the workplace

- Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills

- Experience in operating computer applications, programs and systems
