Toowoomba Regional

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people across the Toowoomba region. As Senior EdLinQ Coordinator, you'll strengthen connections between education and mental health services, lead early intervention initiatives, and help create pathways to support that improve wellbeing, access, and outcomes for young people, families, and school communities.

What your day could look like

As Senior EdLinQ Coordinator, you'll play a key role in improving mental health outcomes for children and young people by strengthening partnerships between schools, families, health professionals, and community services. From driving early intervention strategies to building capability across education and health settings, you'll help create lasting, positive change for young people in the region.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

- Building strong pathways that connect students with the right mental health support at the right time.
- Partnering with schools, clinicians, and community stakeholders to deliver coordinated and person-centred care.
- Leading mental health promotion, prevention, and early intervention initiatives that improve wellbeing and access to support.
- Driving service improvement, workforce capability, and evidence-informed practices that strengthen outcomes for young people and families.

Let's talk about you!

You're someone who combines clinical expertise with genuine care for young people and their communities. You lead with compassion, act with integrity, respect the dignity of others, and bring the courage to champion better outcomes.

You enjoy building trusted relationships, influencing positive change, and helping people work together toward a shared goal. The impact you create is measured not just in services delivered, but in opportunities created for young people to thrive.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

- Relevant registration, membership, or professional certification in an allied health discipline.
- Experience in child, youth, or mental health services, with a strong understanding of early intervention approaches.
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse settings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, influence change, and support continuous improvement.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience working across education and health sectors and/or experience delivering training, supervision, or capability-building programs.

Above all, you'll bring compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation, and courage in creating better outcomes for young people, families, and communities.
