About the Role
Join our Purchasing and Logistics team and take ownership of tyre procurement and supply across the Freedom Tyres Group. You’ll work directly with manufacturers in China, managing everything from order placement and production monitoring through to shipping and import, with real influence over cost, quality and delivery.
This is a bilingual role. You’ll need fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) and an excellent command of English, as well as an understanding of Chinese business culture.

What You’ll Do
- Build strong supplier relationships through daily contact and commercial negotiation
- Order a broad range of tyre products and schedule and manage production
- Create and manage purchase orders and product reports in our ERP system (Costar)
- Monitor product quality and lead times
- Negotiate and book sea freight and logistics for purchases
- Ensure shipping documents,
commercial invoices and purchase contracts are completed accurately and on time
- Administer supplier contracts and conduct supplier reviews
- Keep purchasing procedures up to date
- Support internal sales managers with shipping, product supply and commercial queries
What You’ll Bring
- Mandarin and English fluency, with cultural acumen to develop complex international supply partnerships
- Experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role
- Proven ability to identify, qualify and partner with capable suppliers
- Strong negotiation, communication, organisation and attention to detail
- Experience with Costar or an equivalent ERP
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to multi-task and work both autonomously and in a team, with a proactive approach, in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives
