About the role

Based within the firm's Information Technology ApplicationsServices team, the Business Analyst plays a key role in supportingthe firm's digital transformation strategy. Working closely withstakeholders across legal and business services teams, you willidentify opportunities to improve processes, enhance userexperiences, and deliver technology solutions that driveoperational efficiency and support the firm's strategicobjectives.

This is a highly collaborative role where you will act as thebridge between business and technology teams. You will partner withstakeholders to understand business challenges, analyse current andfuture state processes, and translate requirements into practicaland effective solutions. You will contribute to a range ofinitiatives, from process improvement and system enhancementsthrough to the delivery of innovative digital solutions thatmodernise the way we work and interact with clients.

Responsibilities include:

- Partner with stakeholders across the firm to understandbusiness needs, challenges and opportunities forimprovement.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions togather and document business requirements.
- Analyse and document business processes, workflows,requirements, user stories, use cases and functionalspecifications.




- Translate complex business requirements into clear,actionable solutions for technical delivery teams.
- Support the design of future-state processes and contributeto solution design activities.
- Work collaboratively with project managers, developers,vendors and subject matter experts throughout the projectlifecycle.
- Facilitate process mapping and business processre-engineering activities to improve efficiency andeffectiveness.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to automate, simplifyor optimise business processes through technology.
- Contribute to testing activities, including test planning,user acceptance testing and defect management.
- Support change management and user adoption activities toensure successful implementation of new solutions.

About you

Ideally you will have:

- Minimum 2-4 years of business analysis experience
- Demonstrated ability mentoring or managing junior BA’s(preferred)
- Relevant Tertiary and/or certifications as follows
- IIBA qualifications Entry Certificate in BusinessAnalysis (ECBA), Certificate Competency in BusinessAnalysis (CCBA) or equivalent
- Agile Business Analyst Certification: Certified ScrumBusiness Analyst (CSBA), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner(ACP) or similar
