Salary
$62.14 - $98.77 per hour plus superannuation (Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2024, Level 1.1 - 3.5). Commencement salary with be determined in accordance with the Agreement, based on qualifications and relevant experience.

About the role
Inspire future engineers by delivering industry-focused drafting and technical training in a flexible, rewarding teaching role.
Develops and delivers Engineering Drafting and Technical training programs, creates learning and assessment resources, maintains compliance and industry currency, and supports student success. Reports to the Educational Leader and collaborates with Education Managers, students, administration teams, and industry stakeholders.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and talented Teacher Engineering to join our Industry Skills and Trades team.
You will be required to teach face-to face workshops to students enrolled into MEM40422 Cert IV – Engineering Drafting in 2027 at our Shepparton campus.
As an Engineering Drafting and Technical Teacher, you'll play a key role in developing the next generation of engineering professionals. Through delivering industry-relevant training, mentoring students, and sharing your practical expertise, you'll help learners build the skills and confidence needed for successful careers in engineering. Working closely with industry and education teams, you'll contribute to high-quality training that creates positive outcomes for students, employers, and the broader community.

About you
You will bring:
A vocational qualification in the industry of Engineering Drafting and Technical, at least to the level being delivered.
A MEM50222 Diploma of Engineering - Technical
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) Qualified, with a minimum of 2 years industry experience in vocation or an approved Teaching Qualification that meets the VTA requirements.

What you'll need
Successful applicants will be required to provide:
A current National Police Check (issued within three months of commencement)
A current Employee Working with Children Check (or evidence of application)
A current driver's licence where required.
Must be able to undertake a pre-employment medical.
