Systems Analysts examine business and technical needs andtranslate them into system requirements, models and solution specifications.They assess existing systems, evaluate options and work withmultidisciplinary teams to design, integrate and improve secure, reliable andfit-for-purpose solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysebusiness, user and technical requirements and translate them into clearsystem specifications, models and solution options.
- Assessexisting systems, interfaces, data flows and processes to identifyconstraints, risks, gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Developfunctional and non-functional specifications, system models, interfacerequirements and supporting technical documentation.
- Evaluatesolution options for feasibility, security, privacy, accessibility,performance, supportability and alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Collaboratewith business analysts, architects, developers,
testers and operationalteams to design integrated, fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Supportsystem configuration, integration, testing, implementation andtransition, ensuring solutions meet agreed requirements.
- Investigateincidents, defects and performance issues, identify root causes andrecommend sustainable corrective actions.
- Maintaintraceability and system documentation, communicate technical risks anddecisions, and contribute to continuous improvement.
