About the Role: We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative allied health team specialising in neuro rehab, working in both clinic and community settings. Full time and part-time (min 3 days per week) options available and previous NDIS experience is essential.
In the role you will deliver community Occupational Therapy services predominantly to NDIS participants with some aged care, Medicare and private clients included in the caseload as well. Duties include:
- Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services in the community and in wellbeing centre settings, across NDIS and Aged Care funding
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop plans to improve independence, employment and wellbeing
- Deliver services within individual client budgets and support clients to progress towards their goals
- Prescribe assistive technology and home modifications for clients living with a neurological condition
- Write detailed, person-centred reports and documentation that support clients' needs and goals
- Promote continuous improvement and best practice
- Recommend clinically justified solutions that empower clients to balance risk and reward

About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- NDIS experience required
- Consumer focused, determined, self-disciplined, resilient and adaptable
- Cooperative, with a genuine passion for improving the lives of people with neurological conditions
- Valid driver's licence
- Willing to complete an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Disability Workers Exclusion Check, National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Eligible to work in Australia
