A successful Senior Payroll Officer should have:
- Strong end-to-end payroll experience within a medium to large organisation
- Experience processing high-volume, complex payrolls
- Previous exposure to payroll tax, superannuation and month-end activities
- A strong understanding of awards, enterprise agreements and legislation
- Experience completing payroll reconciliations and statutory payments
- The ability to investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of your workload
