A leading national consultancy is seeking experienced Surveyors to support project delivery across infrastructure, construction, land development, energy and resources. You'll work alongside experienced engineering and project teams, undertaking field surveys, engineering set-outs, spatial data analysis and the preparation of accurate survey plans and deliverables. Key responsibilities
Conduct field surveys, engineering set-outs and construction verification surveys.
Undertake topographic, detail, cadastral support and as-built surveys as required by project specifications.
Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including GNSS, total stations and laser scanners.
Process, interpret and validate survey data using specialist surveying and spatial software.
Prepare accurate survey plans, drawings, reports and spatial models.
Establish and verify survey control networks, benchmarks and reference points.
Work closely with engineers, designers and construction teams to ensure accurate project delivery.
Ensure surveying activities comply with project specifications, relevant standards and quality requirements.
Maintain accurate field records and survey documentation.
Follow strict HSE requirements and site protocols.
About you
A degree or relevant tertiary qualification in Surveying, Geomatics,
Spatial Science or a related discipline.
Demonstrated professional experience as a Surveyor within construction, engineering, infrastructure or land development projects.
Strong practical experience in engineering set-outs, detail surveys and as-built surveys.
Proficiency in operating GNSS equipment, total stations and other modern surveying instruments.
Experience processing survey data and preparing technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12d Model or similar.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, construction plans and technical specifications.
Strong understanding of surveying principles, quality assurance and accuracy requirements.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within multidisciplinary teams.
A safety-first mindset and willingness to work across different project environments.
Knowledge of Australian surveying standards and construction practices will be highly regarded.
