Our client is a highly regarded conservation organisation that works alongside communities and members to preserve and protect species and their habitats. Delivering impactful education programs, advocacy campaigns, and conservation projects, this independent not-for-profit is committed to bringing people together under a common goal of revitalising ecosystems and addressing biodiversity decline.

The Role
Reporting to the Executive Director Participation and Engagement you will oversee the implementation of a fundraising framework looking to maximise philanthropic contributions and build long-term financial capacity. You will also be responsible to:
- Optimise donor acquisition, stewardship, retention, and supporter journey strategies
- Support appeals, individual giving and regular giving campaigns
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Review and enhance fundraising policies, governance, and income generation frameworks
- Manage and motivate a fundraising team and ensure sector best practice
- Implement and contribute to marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and supporter conversion
Skills Required
You will have demonstrated experience in a senior fundraising or related leadership role, with expertise in strategy development and end-to-end portfolio management. You will also have the following skills:
- Demonstrated success designing and executing integrated fundraising campaign strategies driving engagement, revenue growth and retention
- Proven leadership capability, with a focus on mentoring and coaching
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to deliver impactful presentations tailored to diverse audiences
- Strong understanding of fundraising revenue streams, with a track record of fostering and maintaining supporter relationships
- Capability in CRM optimisation, supported by ability to leverage data and marketing analytics to inform decision-making
