The Chance
As a Funding Services Officer in our Customer Services division, you will be part of an enthusiastic, quick paced and results driven team who pride themselves on efficiency and accuracy. In this role, you will learn the ins and outs of loan account set ups for a wide range of loans types across residential, commercial and construction real estate.
Reporting to the Funding Services Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating the movement of funds to third parties and preparing relevant financial documentation. You will set up borrower accounts on completion of settlement, finalise direct debit schedules and issue customer correspondence.
You will work both autonomously and collaboratively within the Funding Services team, as well as with a range of other departments within and outside of the division.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the end-to-end process for sending daily settlement and construction draw down funding to third parties
- Preparing daily documentation to facilitate money movement
- Processing all loan types post-settlement, including setting up borrower direct debit repayment schedules and issuing settlement and progress draw down correspondence
- Cross-check complex loan processing to ensure accounts are set up correctly and in line with internal procedures
- Collaborating with other teams within the division and across the organisation.
About You
Ideally, you will have a year or two of administrative experience and be keen to kick start your career in the financial services industry. You will also possess the following:
Robust problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage daily workload autonomously and work to deadlines
Willingness to help colleagues achieve team KPIs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate proficiency with a variety of computer systems, including a working knowledge of Excel.
