Our client is a leading provider of maintenance services to the mining industry, delivering shutdown, planned and breakdown maintenance across various mine sites.
With a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship and reliability, they are seeking experienced Trade Assistants to join their team for ongoing shutdown maintenance work.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assisting Boilermakers, Riggers and Mechanical Fitters with shutdown maintenance activities
- Supporting planned and breakdown maintenance across fixed plant assets
- Assisting with equipment preparation, dismantling, repairs and general maintenance activities
- Supporting rigging, lifting and material handling activities as requiredAssisting tradespeople with tools, equipment and site preparationMaintaining a clean, safe and organised work areaWorking safely and effectively as part of a team in a coal mining environment
What You Will Need
- Previous Trade Assistant experience in a coal mining environment
- Demonstrated experience working around fixed plant on a coal mine site
- Current Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Gas Monitor Training Certificate
- Confined Spaces Training Certificate
- Working at Heights Training Certificate
- Permit Cluster Training Certificate
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team during shutdowns
- Previous experience supporting Boilermakers, Riggers and/or Mechanical Fitters is essential
