At WD Autobody & Restorations , we don't just repair cars.

We’re looking for a fully qualified Panel Fabricator to join our team in Dromana, someone who has already built their skills within the classic car, muscle car, restoration or historic motorsport world and wants to put those skills to work on some seriously special vehicles.

From Australian muscle and American icons to cherished classics and historic race cars, our workshop is about quality craftsmanship, precision and doing things properly.

At WD, you'll be working on restorations, custom fabrication and one-off projects where your skill and craftsmanship genuinely matter.

Your work may include:

- Custom panel fabrication and metal shaping
- Reconstructing and repairing original panels
- Rust repair and structural metalwork
- Classic and muscle car restoration
- Historic race car and motorsport fabrication
- Chassis and body repairs
- Custom modifications and one-off fabrication
- Tubbing and wheel-well fabrication
- Working with original and factory-correct specifications
- Precision fitting, shaping and finishing
- Bringing tired, damaged and forgotten cars back to life

Our projects range from ground-up restorations to historic race cars, muscle machines and unique custom builds — so no two projects are the same.

WE WANT A CRAFTSMAN — NOT JUST A TRADESMAN

We're looking for someone who:

- Is fully qualified in panel beating / automotive body repair
- Has genuine experience in classic, muscle, restoration and/or historic race cars
- Has strong panel fabrication and metal-shaping skills
- Can confidently work from original panels, measurements, templates and specifications
- Has an exceptional eye for detail
- Takes genuine pride in their workmanship




- Understands the importance of originality, accuracy and structural integrity
- Can work independently and as part of a passionate team
- Has a “can do” attitude and isn't afraid of a challenging project
- Loves cars — because let's be honest, you'll need to!

- Dromana Industrial Estate, VIC
- Tuesday – Friday
- 7:00am – 5:00pm
- 38 hours per week

That’s right — a genuine 4‑day working week, with your weekends free.
