COMPASSION | ACCOUNTABILITY | INTEGRITY | RESPECTAbout us:D3 South Ward is a 32-bed acute inpatient unit providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to adults with a wide range of medical conditions, including eating disorders, chronic disease, acute illness and patients with behavioural symptoms. The ward delivers assessment, treatment and ongoing management, including supportive therapies, coordination of complex care needs, infection control management, and discharge planning.Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, D3 South provides safe, high-quality care across the continuum of acute medical illness. The ward supports a diverse patient cohort from across Far North Queensland, including Cape York, the Torres Strait, Papua New Guinea and western Queensland, ensuring care is culturally responsive, evidence-based and focused on achieving the best possible patient outcomes.About your prospect:In this position you will....Provide effective and efficient clinical care in the area of clinical specialty and work in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care.Effectively communicate at all levels across the organisation to promote effective team functioning.Provide leadership to effectively plan,
manage and evaluate patient care activities at an advanced practitioner level within the specified clinical setting.Undertake quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective patient care.For more information about this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.Using AI for your application?
