OVERVIEW COMPASS EDUCATION AND MIGRATION PTY LTD is seeking a full-time Mandarin-speaking Education Consultant and Registered Migration Agent assistant to join its Sydney headquarters team. The organisation works with international students across education and migration services, supporting university offers, applications, visa matters, and related client services. This role combines student support, communication with education providers, and administrative assistance for migration and visa processes. The position also involves maintaining accurate records, working with CRM systems, and assisting clients throughout their applications.

Key responsibilities

- Provide professional academic advice for international students
- Communicate with education providers to follow up on student applications
- Assist with student applications and enrolments
- Assist students with visa applications
- Support the Migration Agent in preparing documentation for visa applications
- Assist in preparing timely and accurate advice regarding visa options and related immigration matters
- Liaise with clients by phone, email, and in person
- Gather visa documents from clients and follow up on applications
- Maintain and update client files accurately within relevant systems and CRM platforms
- Communicate effectively with the Department of Home Affairs, education providers, and other parties

Requirements





- Experience as an Education Consultant or Registered Migration Agent assistant
- Ability to remain updated on changing legislation and policies
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Qualified, fast, and accurate work style with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Strong project management ability
- Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with the Department of Home Affairs, education providers, and other stakeholders
