About the role
Join our Central Sterile Services Department as a Sterilisation Technician Grade 2 , playing an essential role in ensuring reusable medical equipment and instruments are safely decontaminated, inspected, packaged and sterilised.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll help maintain high standards of infection control, traceability and quality while responding to the changing demands of a busy hospital environment.
About you
Certificate III in Sterilisation Technology (TAFE)
Recent experience in a hospital-based sterilising department
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive and complex tasks
Sound computer skills and experience with CSSD tracking systems
Ability to work effectively under general supervision and meet deadlines
Strong understanding of infection control, relevant standards and manufacturer instructions
Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing workplace
Willingness to participate in a seven-day rotating roster
Commitment to teamwork, professional practice, patient safety and continuous improvement
