including near surface mounted bars where the design uses them.* For engineers: reviewing the strengthening design against site conditions, writing the methodology and ITPs, supervising installation and running the witness and pull off testing with the consultant.* Documenting every layer with photos, batch numbers and test results so the certifier signs off first time.* Working with our cutting and coring crews when penetrations or openings are the reason the slab needs strengthening.## Tickets and experience we look forTell us what you actually hold. Missing one or two is not a problem.* Technicians: hands on experience installing carbon fibre or FRP systems, or a solid concrete repair background and the willingness to be trained on the systems we use.* Engineers: civil or structural degree, or a trade background with years of strengthening experience, and the ability to read and question a strengthening design.* White Card, Working at Heights and EWP. Most of this work is overhead off a platform.* Product training or manufacturer certification on a strengthening system is a real advantage. Name the system.* A driver licence and the willingness to be on site.## Where the roles are and what it paysSydney out of Marrickville and Brisbane out of Slacks Creek, with crews across greater Sydney, the Hunter, Wollongong, Canberra and South East Queensland. We travel for the bigger jobs. Pay depends on experience and tickets. Tell us what you are on and we will be straight with you. Engineers on this page are paid on the remedial engineer scale, depending on experience.

Travel work pays more, and there is interstate work for people who want it. People tend to stay with us once they start: the crew is energetic, dedicated and good to work alongside, and we back them.## Other names for this jobCompanies label this role differently and so do candidates. If your last job was called carbon fibre installer, CFRP installer, FRP installer, carbon fibre strengthening technician, structural strengthening technician, concrete strengthening worker, composite strengthening installer, remedial technician or concrete repair technician, and the work matches what is above, this is the same job. We hire on what you can do on the tools, not on the title.## What we are like to work forWe are a young business and we are growing. That is the honest pitch. The work is the complex end of concrete: repairs on live buildings and car parks, carbon fibre strengthening, crack injection, coping beam removals, post tensioned structures and Tier 1 infrastructure. The structure is not set, there is room to move up if you are any positive, and the person who decides is not six layers away from site. We buy decent gear, we back people who bring a better way of doing something, and safety is not a poster in the lunch room.## Work rightsYou need the right to work in Australia. We do not sponsor visas and we do not charge anyone a fee to apply or to be placed, ever. If someone asks you for money to get a job with us, it is not us.## What happens after you apply* You get an email straight away confirming we have your application.* Someone rings you within one business day, on the mobile number you give us.* If you did not attach a CV, reply to that confirmation email with it. It is the fastest way to get in front of us.* We keep your details on file. Even if there is nothing today, we come back to people when the right job lands.
