or in the absence of a qualification a minimum of three years’ professional full-time experience educating and training horses • A minimum of two years’ equivalent full-time experience handling and working with and educating thoroughbred horses • Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbreds, including stallions, sales or breeding • Proven ability to train and educate young horses • Oral and written communication skills of a level to take instruction; provide information and advice to others and prepare basic reports • Knowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment • Sound knowledge of health and safety obligations and demonstrated skills in safe operation of equipment relevant to the training and preparation of racehorsesThis is a full-time position, and the suitable applicant will need to commit to a minimum of two-years employment.For overseas applicants, please note, a valid visa will be required to commence work.The salary will be above award – in the range of $75,000 to $82,000 per annum depending upon the level of responsibility.Please send detailed resume listing your horse training experience and two written references to
