Remuneration: $65,704.30 - $74,286.50 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

About the role

Step into this rewarding role of Leisure and Lifestyle Allied Health Assistant based in Hillston just 60 minutes away from Griffith. You’ll play a role in implementing meaningful activities for our residents that relate to their lifespan, interests and preferences while working alongside a fabulous team of health professionals.

Your responsibilities involve:

- Facilitate a range of group and individual leisure and lifestyle programs
- Correspondence and document management - including the organisation of various deadlines and communications within a multidisciplinary team.
- Perform and assist with activities under the supervision and direction of treating Allied Health Professionalssuch as exercise classes and community outings
- Facilitate and participate in diversional therapy activities
- Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and the multidisciplinary team
- Create individual lifestyle care plans and programs for residents

Our ideal candidate will:

- Hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle / Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or formal commitment to complete this training within 3 years of employment) or other relevant qualification
- Demonstrate expert level written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Show outstanding problem-solving skills with demonstrate ability to take initiative
