About the Position

People are invited to apply for the position of Parish Support Finance Officer. This is a permanent full-time position supporting parishes across the Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn with the inputting of financial data and reporting requirements.

- Experience with financial packages
- Awareness of GST legislation and reporting requirements
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and excel
- Robust verbal communication skills to be able to serve as the primary point of contact for financial queries

Salary will be subject to qualifications and experience.

The position will be based in the Archbishops Office for Evangelisation, Canberra.

Within the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, Archbishop Prowse serves as Chair of the Bishops Commission for Evangelisation, Laity and Ministry. He also served as Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Wagga Wagga from September 2016 to July 2020 and has been Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinariate of Australia since May 2021.
