About the Role

We are a Sydney-based financial services and brokerage business looking for a motivated Client Services, Sales & Trading Support Officer to join our team. This is a varied, client-facing role combining client services, sales and trading support. You will work closely with clients throughout their relationship with the business - from onboarding and account activation through to ongoing account support - while also assisting the dealing and operations teams with day-to-day trading and transaction-related activities.

A key part of the role is proactively engaging with prospective and existing clients, understanding their requirements, following up enquiries and supporting account activation, client retention and ongoing engagement.

You will also gain hand-on exposure to financial markets, FX and trading operations, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with clients, has a commercial mindset and wants to build a career within financial markets.

As our client base includes both English-and Mandarin-speaking clients, fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential for this role , with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

Key Responsibilities

Client Services

- Respond to client enquiries via phone, email and other communication channels in a timely and qualified manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Assist clients with account opening, account maintenance and general account-related enquiries
- Guide clients through trading platform functionality and general operational processes
- Assist with client onboarding and collection of required documentation
- Follow up outstanding client information and documentation
- Assist with enquiries relating to deposits, withdrawals, transaction records and account administration




- Maintain accurate and complete client records in internal systems and CRM
- Work closely with Operations, Compliance and Dealing teams to resolve client enquiries
- Escalate complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate team

Sales & Client Engagement

- Follow up prospective client enquiries and assist with converting leads into active clients
- Identify client requirements and ensure enquiries are followed through to completion
- Provide factual information regarding available products, platforms and services within the scope of the role and applicable regulatory requirements
- Support client retention and broader relationship management initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, follow-ups and opportunities in the CRM

Trading & Dealing Support

- Ensure transactions and related information are entered accurately and promptly into relevant systems
- Support internal reporting and maintenance of trading records
- Liaise with clients and internal teams regarding transaction and trading-related operational matters
- Follow internal procedures, compliance requirements and applicable regulatory obligations at all times
- Perform other trading, operations and administrative duties as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is client-focused, commercially minded and genuinely interested in financial markets .

You will ideally have:

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages




- A proactive approach to client engagement and follow-up
- Confidence communicating with clients by phone and email
- An interest in sales, business development and client relationship management
- A genuine interest in FX, securities, trading and financial markets
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage multiple client enquiries and priorities in a rapid-paced environment
- The confidence to take ownership of client enquiries and follow them through to resolution
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- The ability to learn recent trading platforms, CRM systems and internal processes quickly
- A professional, positive and client-focused approach
- The ability to work effectively across Client Services, Dealing, Operations and Compliance teams

Highly Regarded

- Previous experience in financial services, fintech, FX, CFD, stockbroking, wealth management or banking
- Previous experience in client services, sales, relationship management, trading support or as a dealer assistant
- Experience working in a client-facing role with sales or performance targets
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline
- RG146 or other relevant financial services training or qualifications, where applicable
- Experience using trading platforms such as MT4, MT5 or similar systems
- Experience using CRM systems
- Knowledge of FX, securities and financial markets
- Mandarin language skills
