The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Product Specialist (In-Home Demo) to join our Dandenong store, in Melbourne Southeast. This positionplays a key role in helping customers improve their mobility andindependence.
You’ll work both in-store and out in the community, providing personalized advice and conducting in-home demonstrations to ensure each customer finds the right solution for their needs.
As part of our team, you’ll also build robust, ongoing relationships with local support organizations, case managers, and Occupational Therapists. This includes introducing the business to key stakeholders and maintaining those relationships over time.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00–17:0 and occasional Saturdays.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Provide trusted expert advice on mobility equipment tailored to each customer’s needs (full training provided).
Deliver outstanding customer service with a genuine passion for improving people’s quality of life.
Conduct in-home demonstrations and showroom consultations to showcase suitable products.
Prepare accurate quotes and respond to enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Manage and prioritise appointments effective, maintaining detailed and accurate sales records.
Build and maintain relationships with local healthcare professionals and support networks (e.g. OTs, case managers, community organizations).
Represent the business at local events, tradeshows,
and community initiatives.
Deliver products and equipment directly to our customers with care and professionalism and provide training to end users
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked showroom.
Occasional overnight/interstate travel (all expenses included).
Qualifications & Experience
Sales experience with a record of meeting or exceeding targets OR a background working in the mobility or aged care sector.
Strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
Knowledge of mobility equipment and assistive technology (desirable).
Clear, empathetic communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage appointments, coordinate demos, and maintain customer records.
Ability to safely lift, handle and transport heavy equipment.
Willingness to load large equipment into the work van in all weather conditions, and maneuver into customers’ homes.
Team player, contributing to a positive work environment.
Strong computing and software skills.
Willing to undergo NDIS Screen Check, WWC Check and Police Clearance on company cost.
Willing to comply with any vaccination requirements set by the government, NDIS, homecare providers and the health industry, including the flu vaccination.
Hold a valid Driver's Licence.
