Join the Australian Safety Wholesalers' team as an Account Manager NSW/ACT/VIC. In this full-time role based in Greater Sydney, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers across NSW and ACT. The territory of Victoria is currently shared between the various account managers. You will play a crucial part in driving the company's sales growth and ensuring exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts across NSW/ACT and parts of Victoria
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients through regular communication and engagement
- Identify new business opportunities to secure new accounts
- Provide expert product knowledge and offer tailored solutions to meet client needs
- Collaborate with the your peers and owners of the business to develop targeted campaigns and new product developments
- Maintain detailed records of all client interactions and sales activities
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient order processing
- Actively contribute to the company's sales strategy and participate in team meetings
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 years' experience in a sales or account management role, preferably within the safety or wholesale industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills to handle client requests and complaints effectivelyDemonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Proficient in using Microsoft word, excel and outlook email systems
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
