We are currently seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Personal Assistant to support our Lawyers and staff in delivering outstanding legal services.

Job Overview:

As a Personal Assistant at Watts McCray Lawyers, you will be an integral part of our team, providing administrative and personal support to our Lawyers and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the firm. You will play a key role in assisting with client communications, scheduling, document management, and other tasks to ensure the firm runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and maintain lawyers' calendars, appointments, and meetings.
- Draft and proofread legal documents, correspondence,



and client communications.
- Handle client inquiries with professionalism, compassion, and confidentiality.
- Coordinate meetings, hearings, and court appearances for attorneys and clients.
- Prepare and file legal documents with the court (electronically and in person, as required).
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel on case matters.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a paralegal, personal assistant, or legal assistant, with a focus on family law preferred.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a family law firm or legal setting is preferred.
