About the Position

The People Administrator plays a key role in supporting the delivery of ARENA’s workforce strategy by providing high-quality administrative support across HR initiatives and programs of work including recruitment, HRIS administration, reporting, and inbox management. Working closely with employees, managers and external stakeholders, you will help deliver a positive employee experience by supporting a range of activities across the employee lifecycle. This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys a varied role, has a strong eye for detail, and is passionate about delivering great people services.

Employment framework and classification





ARENA employees are engaged under the Australian Renewable Energy Agency Act 2011. They are not the same as Australian Public Service (APS) employees, who are employed under the Public Service Act 1999. ARENA’s employment conditions and classifications may differ from those of APS departments and agencies.

Positions are classified based on the nature and scope of the duties required to be performed. Job level and remuneration are determined with regard to:

- the complexity of the role
- the level of responsibility
- the skills and capabilities required.
