Requirements

Cooper Grace Ward has a vacancy for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Insurance workgroup, led by Tony Park and Brady Cockburn, on a full-time or part-time basis. The team acts for some of the firm's largest clients, and the role offers genuine exposure to workers' compensation, insurance litigation and PIPA/CTP matters.
The Legal Assistant will provide secretarial and administrative support to the team, including the following duties.
- Managing diaries and coordinating meetings with clients and key internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing and reconciling expenses
- Liaising with and managing client relationships
- Preparing legal documents
- Opening and closing files, and maintaining electronic records
- Providing secretarial support for high-volume administrative tasks
- Undertaking PA duties as required
