We are seeking an experienced and talented Agricultural Service Technician to join the team at Milne Bros Equipment in Mackay, Queensland. This full-time role will see you provide expert technical support and maintenance services for a range of agricultural equipment, ensuring our clients' machines are operating at peak performance.
Key responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of agricultural machinery
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and test equipment
Flexibility to work across both field service and workshop tasks is required. A work Ute will be provided.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client requests and communicating effectively throughout the repair process
Collaborate with the broader team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal customer outcomes
Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in the agricultural equipment industry
About you
Formal qualifications in agricultural/diesel mechanics or a related field
Minimum 2-4 years' experience as a service technician working on a range of agricultural equipment
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality work
A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to client sites as required
Fork lift Licence
