About the position:

The Mullewa District Office is seeking a full time Customer Service Officer to join the team. The Mullewa Customer Service Officer is the face of the Mullewa District Office, aiming to optimise resolution at the first point of contact and deliver a premium experience to the Mullewa community. This role is responsible for providing accurate, concise, and timely information to the general public in all areas of the City business.

This position will be based at the Mullewa District Office and is a permanent full-time opportunity.

Key accountabilities:

- As the customer-interfacing “face” of the Mullewa District Office, deliver a consistent and responsive customer experience via range of delivery methods, including face-to-face, emailand phone to all internal and external customers.
- Address a range of customer requests in all areas of activity determining their needs andrequirements, servicing their expectations, and providing effective timely solutions, escalatingenquiries through to specialist staff where necessary.
- Accurately input, monitor, and maintain customer records within City systems and databaseswitch support future activities.
- Undertake the processing and delivery of customer focused functions, including but notlimited to, Mullewa library services, Department of Transport and Major Infrastructurelicensing services, Mullewa community facility, cemetery and dog/cat registrationapplications.

Position requirements:

The successful applicant will have demonstrated customer service experience, including the ability toestablish positive relationships with customers and to determine and address customerrequirements. Sound level of office administration skills including processing payments and inputand manage customer information is also a requirement.





Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is requiredof all positions at the City. This position also requires the successful applicant to possess a current Cclass drivers licence and provide a current National Police Clearance.

Remuneration and benefits:

The Mullewa Customer Service Officer position has a salary starting from $79,115 per annum or$40.04 per hour, offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
