About the role
We are seeking an experienced NDIS Office Manager to join our team at our One Mile, Queensland location on a full-time basis . This is a pivotal administrative and operational role that will be instrumental in supporting the efficient delivery of our NDIS services. As NDIS Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of our office, ensuring compliance with NDIS requirements, and providing essential support to our service delivery teams. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the smooth functioning of our organisation and directly contributes to the quality of support we provide to our participants.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all administrative and office operations, ensuring efficient day-to-day functioning of the NDIS service delivery
- Maintain accurate and compliant NDIS documentation, including participant files, service agreements, and funding records
- Coordinate scheduling and rostering of support staff to ensure service delivery commitments are met
- Process invoicing, billing, and financial records related to NDIS claims and funding
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements and internal policies
- Liaise with participants, families, and external stakeholders to provide administrative support and information
- Manage office resources, including equipment, supplies, and facilities maintenance
- Develop and implement administrative systems and procedures to improve operational efficiency
- Provide support to the management team on reporting, data analysis, and performance monitoring
- Conduct inductions and provide administrative training to new team members
- Monitor and manage risk and safeguarding protocols within the office workplace
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience working in an NDIS or disability support services environment, with a solid understanding of NDIS policies, funding mechanisms, and compliance requirements
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with NDIS management systems or similar database software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge of disability support services, safeguarding principles, and person-centred approaches
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Customer service orientation and empathy towards people with disabilities and their families
- Relevant qualifications in administration, office management, or business administration (preferred)
- Current knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards and quality indicators (advantageous)
