Genus Services is seeking a motivated and organised Project Support Officer to join our team based in North Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish or develop their career in project administration within the telecommunications industry.
Working closely with our project and field teams, you'll provide administrative support across telecommunications network maintenance and infrastructure programs, helping ensure work orders, project information and day‑to‑day requirements are managed accurately and efficiently.
You'll receive guidance and support as you develop your understanding of our systems, processes and operations.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the allocation, management and tracking of work orders
- Providing administrative support to Field Contract Managers
- Maintaining and updating project databases, systems and records
- Assisting with land access assessments and project documentation
- Supporting the preparation of variation and Extension of Time requests
- Monitoring work orders, priorities and deadlines
- Liaising with field teams, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with operational and client reporting
- General project and administrative support as required

About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and eager to learn, with an interest in developing their skills in a busy project environment.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team
- An interest in administration, project coordination or the telecommunications industry
- Previous experience or qualifications in project administration, project coordination, utilities or a related field would be highly regarded
