We’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Qualified Educator to join our team on a casual basis. If you love working with children, enjoy a dynamic environment, and are motivated to create engaging programs that support learning and wellbeing, this could be the perfect role for you.

Located at Bethany Lutheran Primary School in Raceview, Bethany OSHC provides before and after school care and vacation care programs. We foster a safe and stimulating environment, offering activities that inspire exploration, creativity, and social connection. Guided by the My Time Our Place: Framework for OSHC, our programs align with the National Quality Framework to support children’s wellbeing and development.

About the Role

Supervise and actively engage children in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities

Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children

Deliver age-appropriate, engaging programs that support learning and development

Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the school community

Collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality care and programs

Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

Understanding of the National Quality Standards and Frameworks

Current Blue Card





Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications

Experience working in OSHC or a similar childcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Completed Child Protection Training (Section 162A)

A genuine passion for working with children

Experience with Food Handling (desired but not essential)
