Bielby is experiencing a period of sustained growth, supported by a strong pipeline of major infrastructure opportunities and continued expansion into new regions. Building on over 40 years of successful major project delivery, we are seeking an accomplished Construction Manager to join our team and be part of a major infrastructure project in NSW.

The role will initially be based in Sydney during design, before mobilising tothe regional site in early 2027.Youwill be part of a $400M major regional infrastructure project that will restore and strengthen critical transport links across regional New South Wales. More importantly, it is an opportunity to play a key role in Bielby's strategic expansion within NSW.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will take ownership of construction delivery, with engineering, project delivery and site teams working under your leadership to achieve outstanding project outcomes.

What You'll Do

- Lead delivery teams across major infrastructure projects as Construction Manager.
- Manage engineering, project delivery and site teams to ensure safe, efficient and profitable project delivery.
- Drive performance across safety, quality, programme, productivity and client satisfaction objectives.
- Contribute to effective cost control measures including forecasting, budget management as well as managing procurement and subcontractor engagement.
- Lead and manage on-site personnel, ensuring adequate resourcing of labour, plant, and materials.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of project schedules whilst monitoring progress




- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment on site, ensuring adherence to all relevant WHS legislation, regulations, and company policies

What You'll Bring

- Extensive experience in construction leadership roles on road, bridge, transport or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Design & Construct project delivery environments.
- Strong expertise in construction methodology, planning, staging and project execution.
- Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Experience managing engineers, supervisors and project delivery personnel.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A practical leadership style with a solid focus on delivery, accountability and team performance.
