As our CTO, you will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, technical architecture, cloud delivery, and the leadership of our global engineering team.

You will work closely with “C” level executives and founders to translate business ambition into a scalable, secure, and world-class technical platform.

Your average day will include:

- Architecting and guiding future products, platforms, and distributed systems to support rapid international expansion.
- Driving our overarching AI vision—embedding AI/ML into our core platform architectures as well as modernising software delivery workflows.
- Leading, mentoring, and providing technical guidance for the engineering and architecture teams.
- Developing resilient, logical architectures for current and future products using best-practice design principles and cloud FinOps discipline.




- Building a high-performing Developer Experience (DevEx) that optimises delivery velocity, automation, and code quality.
- Educate, coach, and nurture the engineering team by sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Recruit, hire, and scale distributed engineering teams globally while maintaining a strong, inclusive culture.
- Actively lead stand-ups, architecture reviews, and cross-functional workshops.
- Report directly to the Founders.
- Take new products to market rapidly while ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.

About you, your experience and behaviours:

- Proven track record as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Engineering in a high-growth SaaS or tech platform setting.
- Demonstrated experience taking tech products to market and successfully scaling infrastructure internationally.
- Proven experience leading AI/ML initiatives and leveraging modern AI-driven software development practices.
- Strong background operating distributed, hybrid, or offshore/onshore engineering teams across time zones.
- Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and system design skills.
- High EQ and human-centric leadership style.
- Strong understanding of product commercialisation and technology business metrics (cloud unit economics, velocity, system availability).
- Solid foundation in DevSecOps, cloud architecture (AWS/GCP), and modern data security/privacy standards.
- Experience in fast-paced Agile environments with modern tech stacks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Python, Golang, Node.js, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bridge technical vision and executive strategy.
