Harmony Auto is an automotive retail group representing BYD and DENZA across Australia. As our dealership network continues to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to help ensure every vehicle meets our quality standards before reaching the customer.

About the role

You will play a key role in checking vehicle condition, identifying quality issues and coordinating their resolution before delivery. Working closely with our service, sales and delivery teams, you will help maintain consistent inspection standards and deliver a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct vehicle quality inspections upon arrival and before customer delivery.
- Check vehicle presentation, cleanliness, accessories and relevant documentation against established requirements.
- Identify and document damage, defects, missing items and preparation issues, escalating technical concerns to qualified technicians.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to arrange rectification and confirm that outstanding issues are resolved before delivery.




- Maintain accurate inspection checklists, photographs and quality records.
- Monitor recurring issues and recommend improvements to vehicle preparation and delivery processes.
- Support consistent quality standards across the team and follow workplace safety procedures.

About you

You take pride in getting the details right and can work effectively with different teams in a busy dealership workplace.

You will bring:

- Experience in automotive quality control, pre-delivery inspections, vehicle preparation, service operations or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and clearly report quality issues.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing delivery deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and a practical approach to resolving problems.
- Confidence using digital checklists, systems and basic reporting tools.
- A current driver’s licence valid in Australia.

Experience with electric vehicles, BYD or DENZA would be an advantage.
