About the Role

As a Data Migration Architect, you will play a critical role in delivering complex enterprise transformation programs by designing and leading end-to-end data migration solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, and delivery teams to ensure data is migrated accurately, securely, and efficiently across up-to-date cloud and enterprise platforms. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, consulting capability, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience delivering large-scale migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and lead data migration strategies, architectures, and delivery roadmaps for enterprise transformation programs.
- Conduct source system analysis, data profiling, and migration assessments to determine migration readiness and identify data quality issues.
- Facilitate business and technical workshops to define migration scope, data mappings, transformation rules, validation criteria, and reconciliation requirements.
- Design and oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) frameworks to support migration activities.
- Establish data governance, data quality, cleansing, and remediation processes to improve migration outcomes.




- Develop and manage reconciliation frameworks, exception handling processes, and migration validation controls.
- Lead migration planning, mock migrations, cutover activities, deployment execution, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and project teams to ensure successful delivery of migration programs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to data engineers and project teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate migration risks, dependencies, and issues while ensuring project milestones are achieved.
